What began as one man’s vision has become a full-service agency helping brands across Utah and beyond. Oz Marketing was founded by Oliver Young—a strategist, leader, and creative at heart—who saw opportunity where others saw limits.

Our Story Begins

From Ambition to Agency.

After earning his degree in Economics from the University of Utah, Oliver joined the Young Automotive Group as an assistant to the CFO, optimizing financial operations across multiple dealerships. But his true calling was marketing—building brands that connect with people. In 2009, he founded Oz Marketing, named after his childhood nickname, to bring strategic creativity to both the automotive group and local businesses.

Building a Foundation

Expanding from Print to Digital.

In the early years, Oz Marketing carved its space in digital and social media, a bold move for the time. Soon after, the agency expanded with a print division, designing and distributing materials for dealerships and community events. The creative team grew under Zane Judkins, who still leads our design department today, and Luke Draper, who brought film and media-buying expertise that shaped our storytelling approach.

As Oz Marketing evolved, our team expanded with specialists in every discipline. Tim Genovesi joined as a web developer and grew the department into a powerhouse of technical innovation. By 2017, we surpassed $5 million in annual revenue with established production, design, development, and digital departments — and a new headquarters that reflected our creative identity.
